Hebrews 2:14; Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, and is the Devil.
Rev.6:8; And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat upon him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Rev 20:14: And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
I Cor.15:54. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
As Satan's rebellion was the cause of darkness and 'death', and he has been given control over the method of death of the flesh, this was also the method that God used against Lucifer, by Jesus Christ claiming the victory over Death for us, on the cross. There was no 'death' in that first earth age when Lucifer was 'perfect in his ways'…

…as there will be no more 'death' after this second earth age is ended and God's eternity, the third earth age is set up everlasting.
