Matthew 21:19-22: And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

20: And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

21: Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree,  but also if you shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

22: And all things, whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

 

Matthew 24: Read All. 1 Christ fortelleth the destruction of the temple: 3 what and how great calamities shall be before it: 29 the signs of his coming to judgement. 36 and because that day and hour is unknown, 42 we ought to watch like good servants, expecting every moment our master’s coming.

 

Mark 11:13-14: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

14: And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it. 

 

Luke 6:44: For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

 

Luke 13:6-9: He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard: and he came and sought fruit thereon and found none.

7: Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth the ground?

8: And he answering said unto him, Lord let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shall cut it down.

 

James 3:12: Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? So can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

 

Rev.6:13: And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

 

Gen 3:8   And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

     This word 'voice' is 'qowl' in Hebrew meaning 'to call aloud, a voice or sound' (Strong's no. 6963). Adam and Eve hid from God's Presence in the Garden because they had disobeyed Him

 

Gen 3:9   And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, "Where art thou?"
10    And he said, "I heard Thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because
I was naked; and I hid myself."
11    And He said, "Who told thee that
thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?"
12    And the man said, "The woman whom Thou gavest
to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat."
