Gen 5:3   And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

This 'Adam' is the 'the particular man Adam', 'eth' Ha' adham', placed in God's Paradise of Gen.2. Notice this verse says nothing of Cain or Abel, but goes directly to Seth? Wait a minute here, if this is the start of 'THE BOOK OF GENERATIONS OF ADAM', which we just read, where's Cain? We know that Abel, being murdered by his brother couldn't continue Adam's lineage, so that explains why Abel's not there, but what about Cain? I mean, isn't Cain supposed to be the first son of Adam and Eve? But here, God's Word is starting with this 'Seth' (a substitute for Abel). What gives? As we covered before, Cain's true father is 'that old serpent', the 'devil', Satan, 'Bel' which means 'dragon', another name for Satan given in…

Rev.20:2.And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

Our Father has put the genealogies in order as they happened also, since Cain's was the first conception (in the Garden of Eden with 'that serpent), his offspring are at the end of Gen.4, which we just covered.

We are beginning the 'her Seed' of the Woman at this verse, meaning the bloodline of Christ's birth (see Gen.3:13-15). We just covered the lineage of Cain in Gen.4 which is 'thy seed' back in Gen.3:15. If you've been a student of God's Word for a long time, and you're just now getting a hold on this teaching from God's Word, then it's time to 'plough', helping others. This teaching about Satan's 'seed' is not my personal opinion, I'm not playing games. This is our Father's Word, like It or not.

Gen 5:4   And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5    And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

Notice any difference here about the description of these lineage's of 'the man Adam', compared to Cain's in Gen.4? Did Cain's genealogy describe any of his offspring's time in years, i.e., how old they lived and when they died? Nope. The offspring lineage follows the eldest son, so these other sons and daughters of Adam are not specifically named.
Back in Gen.2:17, God told Adam and Eve "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Remember that to God a 'day' is as a thousand years?

II Peter 3:8:  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

This is also how we know 'The Lord's Day' is the millennium, God's Millennium with His Son Jesus Christ ruling on this old earth with the elect, not man's Y2K millennium. So this man Adam and Eve obviously didn't die in the flesh immediately after the sin in the Garden, but notice that Adam did not live past a thousand years, 'nine hundred and thirty years' to be exact.

Gen 5:6   And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

This 'Enos', meaning 'mortal man' or 'frail', we covered at the end of Gen.4. Strange that Enos would be spoken of back at the end of Cain's lineage. Is there an important message our Father is giving there with this Enos?  I think so. 'Enos' was linked to the 'profaning of the name of the LORD' in that same verse, remember? So 'Enos' kind of followed after the ways of Cain with false worship didn't he?
Another very important matter is revealed with this verse 6 here about Enos. Those who aren't aware of Cain's origin, when asked why he is not listed here at all in Adam's lineage, might respond
