Genesis 5:15 - 5:32.  Pages 1-5

We left off at Genesis 5:14, covering the genealogy of the 'eth' Ha' adham', which is to say, the 'specific man named Adam' who God placed in the Garden of Eden to till the soil. Many from the sons of Cain were covered back in Genesis 4, and with Gen.4:26 men began to 'profane' the calling upon the Name of The LORD with the worship of other things instead of our True Father Jehovah. This profaning was continuing, and we will soon be given examples of just how far it would go in Genesis 6. This 'profaning' with the worship of many different 'gods' is still going on today, as the offspring of Cain are still with us. Many good people have been suckered into following those systems because they are hidden on the surface level even to the new petitioner. But deep down inside those pagan groups are individuals who know they are worshipping Satan. Well did God warn His People of these things in His Word? You bet! Even in many Scriptures. Here's one example where the sons of Cain had evidently crept into God's Temple, as written here in Ezekiel 8. God had just touched Ezekiel, and he was ushered into the 'spirit', being shown a vision of what was really going on. We ask a Word of Wisdom from our Father in Christ Jesus' Name, Amen:

Ezek 8:5   Then said He unto me, "Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north." So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
6    He said furthermore unto me, "Son of man, seest
thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from My sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations."

At the start of this Chapter 8 of Ezekiel, he was seated with the elders of Judah, when 'the hand of the Lord GOD fell' upon him to take him in the 'spirit of vision'. Ezekiel was looking northward at the then existing north gate of the altar of God's House, The Temple Mount in Jerusalem. These were abominations that were going on then, during Ezekiel's time, there in Jerusalem, and among also the 'house of Israel', as referenced in verse 6. This 'image of jealousy' was an idol which was provoking our Father Jehovah to jealousy, and thus He left afar off from this Sanctuary. Hey, it gets more interesting...(we need some 'Jaws' music about right now...):

Ezek 8:7   And He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
8    Then said He unto me, "Son of man, dig now in the wall:" and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
9    And He said unto me, "Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that
they do here."

This 'a hole in the wall' symbolizes a mysterious event, hidden from the People's eyes, but God is showing Ezekiel what's really taking place behind 'closed doors'.

Ezek 8:10   So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about.
11    And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

Images and idols, 'creeping things' of animalistic worship, everything and anything, that portrays worship in opposition to Jehovah. And here stood 'seventy men of the ancients (elders) of the house of Israel'. They were supposed to be righteous leaders of God's People, increasing in the teaching of His Word to His People. Let's cover a little bit more, just to really cap the message of false worship:
