Isaiah
In the last
Letter on Isaiah, we read at Isaiah 10:11 with the Assyrian
saying, "...as I have done unto Samaria and her
idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols." If
you'll remember back in...II Kings 24-25:
The king of
Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar) came upon Jerusalem around 477 B.C. and took the
'house of Judah' captive out of Jerusalem. The 'house of Israel', i.e., northern ten tribes headed by the
tribe Ephraim at Samaria, had already been taken captive to Assyria by this Assyrian (Sargon, father of
Sennacherib) before that time. I Kings 15-18:
Around 609 B.C.,
aprox.130 years earlier). So Isaiah 10:11 must yet have a 'double'
meaning, as we continue in this great Book of Isaiah, we ask a Word of Wisdom
from our Father in Yeshua Messiah's Name, Amen.
Isa
10:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when
the LORD (Jehovah
in the manuscripts) hath
performed His whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish
the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high
looks.
God is saying with this
verse that when 'His whole work upon mount Zion and
Jerusalem' is finished, then He will punish this Assyrian.
Well when will 'His whole work'
be finished? Christ Jesus has not returned yet
to gather His elect from the four winds (spiritual body), and Satan is not
locked in the 'abyss' or 'pit' yet (see Rev.20). Now this is a very
'fine' point I'm trying to make here, and I feel it's very important to grasp
this. The Assyrian of history did go up against Jerusalem, but he
did not succeed in taking Judah captive as he did with the 'house of Israel',
meaning the northern ten tribes. So what will happen in the 'captivity'
of Jerusalem in these latter days according to God's Word? These verses
in Isaiah 10 are 'ensamples'
to us today is the message which God is also giving us here. It's
going to happen again in our near future, but Satan will play the part of the Assyrian
and Nebuchadnezzar; but this time, all rolled into one. Keep these
points in mind until we reach Chapter 14 of Isaiah.
Isa
10:13 For he saith, "By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom;
for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their
treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
The Assyrian thinks he's in
control, but not so, for our Father Yehovah is in control. Satan will
not even be able to defeat Michael and his angels as written in... Rev.20: Read
All.
So why even bother to
fear him, that is to say, Lucifer? His pride,
beauty, and 'wisdom' corrupted his ways as written in... Ezekiel 28:
So naturally
Satan thinks he can actually pull off being 'a
spurious messiah' of the future. Even as Paul would teach
in...
Romans 11:
Peter in 1: Read
All.
Peter 2:8:
that
Christ is a 'stumbling stone'
to those who don't understand The Word, and thus they will be 'snared'
and 'taken'
by the Antichrist playing 'a spurious messiah',
because they listen to
