 Rev.12 & 13:

26. Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.”

27. And this word, “Yet once more,” signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29. For our God is a consuming fire.

 

 The above chapters talk about this shaking, and... Also refers to the shaking of this ancient earth one time before. That time was 'of old', the first earth age when Satan first rebelled. This time God is going to shake not only the earth, but also heaven; meaning there will be no need of sun, moon, or stars, because God and our Lord Jesus Christ will be the light in the new Jerusalem on the new earth.

These were only needed while we were in our flesh bodies, but on our Lord’s return we will all be changed into our spirit bodies, and the shaking of the earth, or the falling stars will not effect   those  who are God’s children.

 Jer.4:22-28:

22. For My people is foolish, they have not known Me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

Sottish, meaning alchoholic, drinking heavily, drunk, foolish, stupid, senseless. So while in this state it is impossible to know God  worrying only where the next drink comes from  and usually leading to evil, not even giving a thought to do good.
