Genesis
Isaiah 14:13 - 14:32 pages
1-13.
In
the last Study on Isaiah, we discovered that the Assyrian which took the
Ten Tribes into captivity to Assyria is but a 'type' or 'role' that the
Antichrist will play in our near future. We discovered that Lucifer
is the one who will play that future role. God's prophet Isaiah gave
this prophecy to Israel during his time, but it's all going to happen again for
us also.
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on His first
coming would even read in the Temple from Chapter 61:1-2 in this Book of Isaiah
declaring "the acceptable year of the LORD."
Isa
61:1; The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me;
because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath
sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and
the opening of the prison to them that are bound; (Jesus closed the book,)
Isa
61:2: To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; (For our time.)
Jesus closed The Book after reading only the first part
of Isa.61:2, because the last part of that verse is about His second coming,
and it wasn't time for that part to be fulfilled. That
division in Isa.61:2 represents how
we Christians are to study God's Word, rightly dividing His Truth.
Luke 4:18-20:
18. “The
spirit of the LORD is upon Me,because He hath annointed Me to preach the gospel
to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance
to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them
that are bruised,
19. To
preach the acceptable year of the LORD.’’
20. And
He closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the
eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on Him.
We have
already seen many references to our time in this Book of Isaiah, and that's why
we call It prophecy. It's still being fulfilled
today, and much of this Book still won't be finished even after Christ's return
to earth!
I know some of my Letters are pretty meticulous, hard going, and may even seem
to creep along at times. But being in too big a hurry with God's Word is how to
really mess up and misunderstand what our Father wrote to us. What about the Churches which skip around
in God's Word and never get down to a Chapter by Chapter and verse by verse
study? Are they afraid to teach God's
Word, or is it that they don't really know our Father's Word? It's
most important to let our Father speak to us through His Word, and this is how
you do it, line by line, verse by verse. Now before someone gets upset
with me, I know 'topical' study is different, but verses used for a
topic still must conform to the meaning in their Chapters. And, a line by line
study of the Chapters where those verses are will pull The Word together.
For those of you
that have been studying along with me, checking me out in The Word, and doing your
homework by researching the Scriptural references I gave, you should be gaining
a 'deeper insight' into our Father's Message which He sent us. It brings to me
a feeling of joy, to know that you have taken the time to check me out in The
Word, and thus gain True Knowledge from our Father by studying His Word for
yourself. And I think it's safe for me to say that our Father is well pleased
when you prove your faith in Him by studying His Word and help accomplish His
Work, and not man's.
We now continue with this study of Chapter 14 in
the Book of Isaiah, as we ask a Word of Wisdom from our Father, in Christ
Yeshu'a Messiah's Name, Amen
