Job 1:8-12:

                        Read All.

 Job 2:1-9:

God knew Job belonged to Him, and thus would not turn from our Father, nor curse Him for his period of testing. And even Satan tempted Job using his own wife.

Job 2:9. Then said his wife unto him, “Dost thou still retain thine integrity? Curse God, and die.”

Then came 'three friends' of Job's to come mourn with him.

Job 2:11. Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite

Eliphaz a son of Esau; (Strong’s No 464) pronounced el-ee-faz; and means in Heb, (god of gold}.

Bildad (bil’-dad) (Strong’s No1085) of uncertain derivative.

Zophar (zo-far) (Strong’s No, 6691) tso_far ’; and means in Heb (Departing)

Look up their names in your Strong's. They really aren't Job's kind of people. About thirty six Chapters later and Job still had not cursed God while listening to the flesh philosophers, whom Satan used to tempt him. And then God restored all to Job, and then some.

So how is Job's example important for this Isaiah 22 Chapter? God did not do the persecution of Job; He allowed the 'wicked one' and his false servants to do it. And instead of Job cursing God, Who created all things, including Lucifer, Job cursed the 'state' of his flesh, the imperfection of all flesh, man's wisdom, and the rudiments of 'this world' which Lucifer has been given rule over

Luke 4: Read All.

 2 Pet.3: Read All.

Job cursed this flesh age of Lucifer's doing. All the blame was laid upon Lucifer and his order. Job never turned away from God, and when all was said and done, God restored to Job "twice as much as he had before". God turned it all around when after Job had "prayed for his friends."

Job 42:10. As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; While they say daily unto me, “Where is thy God?”

...So it was Job's friends who were really deceived, thinking they were the owners of God's True Wisdom, and not giving God the credit. The blasphemy and sin was theirs, not Job's. These of Isaiah 22 are in the same trap, as many still are today, looking everywhere for someone to rely upon, except our Father through Christ Jesus.
Let's go deeper still.... The events upon Job is our Father's example that His true followers will often suffer during this time of flesh, and even then...will 'pray' for the deceived who most often work or allow that suffering .

Acts 7; verses 59-60: Read All.

Didn't our Lord tell us to pray for our enemies, and seek to do good even to those who hate us?

Matt.5:44. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you. And pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you.
