The false leaders, including the deceived leaders of God's People who put their faith and trust upon the false 'rock', i.e. false messiah and his false 'beast' kingdom, will be driven from their high 'station', by our Heavenly Father. Just as God took His Protecting Hand away from Job, the 'Assyrian', the 'king of Babylon', the 'spurious messiah', is how this pulling down will be done.
     For God's People who are aware of the false 'rock', and its workers, and also make a 'stand' giving a Testimony for Christ Jesus, what is there to worry about; absolutely nothing, as long as we stay in Christ Jesus (Eph.6). The deception is not upon those who are given to recognize that false 'rock' and his operators.

 

 Understanding God's Word in this Shebna matter is a Gift from our Father through Christ Jesus. We do not understand that Message of our own selves; it must come from God's Spirit dwelling in us. That means 'you', if you've truly understood this study in Isaiah, for you already know from God's Word just how the deception will come upon the world.

 

 Plant a seed of God's Truth as you're able, for our feelings of worry and bitterness in our groins is because of the deception upon many of our brethren. If they will not spiritually 'see' then know God has 'blinded' them for their own good.

 Trusting in God through Christ Jesus today is to know these trials coming upon the world are part of our Father's Plan, and that they are necessary, showing His Supreme Power, Glory, Authority, and Righteousness over all, over the 'wicked one' and his false workers especially.

Isa 22:20   And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
21    And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

     God is going deeper with this analogy between 'Shebna'...and now with this 'Eliakim' which is "God sets up" in the Hebrew (Strong's no. 471; BDB def.). And the father of Eliakim is Hilkiah, which in the Hebrew is "my portion is Jehovah" (Strong's no. 2518; BDB def.).
     So we are now given a contrast between a servant of the false 'rock' Lucifer with Shebna, as compared to a true servant of The Almighty God with Eliakim. Which one will you follow?
     Thus our Father is going to send to Judah here, and to Jerusalem, a true servant of The House of God.

Isa 22:22   And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Then you know our Lord Jesus Christ only has control of the "key of the house of David".
     Being given to know that 'key' means to know God's Plan; that through the lineage of David our LORD Jesus Christ would be born, and knowing the difference between Christ's Family of servants who help God prepare The Way of Salvation through that 'Seed' of the woman, vs. the false servants of Lucifer who try and work against That Perfect Plan of God.

 

 Gen.3:15: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.
