air instead, defaulting to the spirit of antichrist. That is the result of not staying in God's Word. We are to make a "stand" for Christ during the great tribulation, clad with the Gospel Armour.
Ephesians 6: Read All.
Gen.30:2.And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, “Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?”
Deut.7:13. And He will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: He will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which He sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Psalms 127:3. Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: And the fruit of the womb is His reward.
So never think that this 'with child' analogy is about woman giving birth to literal children today, for that is one of God's blessings.
For this example in these Isaiah verses, the deceived of God's People are spiritually pregnant with a false idea and false hope. They treat it like a real pregnancy, showing all the 'outward' symptoms of going into labour, yet they're not really pregnant at all, for false fruit will bring forth... nothing. And all this is meant in the spiritual sense of not staying on Christ for the latter days. Strong preaching of being raptured away before antichrist comes has made many go into spiritual labour pains, yet per God's Word, it's nothing but hot air ("wind"). And oh how easy it is for our flesh in wanting to accept the easy way out, instead of listening to God's simple Word. Many are just too lazy to do their own study in God's Word, and instead go into the suffering of labour pangs as led by great orators and speech makers, when its nothing but hot air.
John 17:14-22. Read All. Isa 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. "Thy dead men" is Hebrew 'muwth', meaning 'to die' (Strong's 4191). This part refers to those 'in Christ' who resurrect from the dead. Paul explained the resurrection in detail, even declaring with what type of body, and how we'll resurrect in Christ. (See the Asleep in Christ studies for in-depth coverage of that event). You'll discover in those studies per God's Word of
Ecclesiastes 12:7-9: Read All.
1 Corinthians 15 Read All.
That at flesh death, the flesh goes back to the dust where it came from, and the 'spirit' (with 'soul') immediately goes back to The Father Who gave it. "God is not the God of the dead, but of the living." (Matt.22:32). |
