The Works of GOD are! Therefore, our concern should be in doing our best to stay on Christ in His Word, and in doing His Commandments to produce good fruit for Him. Leave the worrying to The Father, for He is able to cover and water His "vineyard", His People.

Isa 27:4     Fury is not in Me: who would set the briers and thorns against Me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

This verse follows the subject we've just covered about GOD keeping and watering His "vineyard" (His People). His "Fury" is not upon His "vineyard" that stays on Him. He's not angry with those who have believed upon His Son and stay on Him. His fury is upon those who would try to destroy Him and His vineyard.

Even the sons of Cain look after their own. Should our Heavenly Father be any different in protecting His Own "vineyard"?
Recall in the last words of David, that the sons of Belial (the wicked) are the symbolic "thorns" in God's Word.

 2 Samuel 23:5-7. Read all.

The king 'brier' of course, is Satan himself (see the parable of the 'bramble' in Judges 9). This should reveal to you who the symbolic 'thorns' represent in our Lord's parable of the 'sower', and about the difference in deciphering their 'fruits.'

 Matt.13: Read All.

 Matt.7: Read All.

When our Lord Jesus was delivered up to be crucified, what was the crown made from which the false ones put on His head?

Ans: Matt.27:29.

Now read the above Isaiah 27:4 verse again..., "Who would try to set the evil one and his children against Me?” God is saying. Satan's followers of the sons of Cain, and any others born flesh following Satan that refuse to repent and turn back to God through The Son, are destined to be burned in the fire; i.e. the "lake of fire"

 Rev.20:14-15: Read All.

Isa 27:5     Or let him take hold of My strength, that he may make peace with Me; and he shall make peace with Me.

This word "strength" is Hebrew 'ma'owz', and means 'a fortified place' (Strong's 4581). Those who trust in God put themselves in His 'fortified place'. Our Heavenly Father is The One Who does the fortifying of defences for us. We can't do it of ourselves, nor even have the power to do such. He wants us to take refuge in Him, and make peace with Him; not with the world, nor with the things of this world. What things of the world ever gave any true peace?

Isa 27:6     He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

Jacob is put for all the twelve tribes of Israel. This verse applies to God scattering the majority of the twelve tribes of Israel through the countries, with Christ being preached to the Gentiles, and much 'fruit' being produced. It especially applies to God joining the believers on Christ of all twelve tribes back together along with the believers among the Gentiles. That will happen when Christ returns (see Ezekiel 37; Zechariah 10:6-8; 2:10-12; Hosea 2:18-23).
