Our Lord Jesus revealed part of the reason for that spiritual blindness upon many with... "For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God."

John 12:43: "For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God."

 In other words, they sought man's counsel for self-reward, instead of God's counsel for His Blessing.

When the apostle Paul was captive in his own house in Rome, he called unto the chief of the Jews concerning the reason for his appeal to Caesar. After declaring Christ Jesus to them out of the Books of the prophets and from the Law of Moses, many of those Jews still refused to believe.

 Then Paul repeated this blindness Message recorded in Isaiah 6, and proclaimed that Salvation was thus sent unto the Gentiles, and that the Gentiles would hear It.

 And truly, many of the scattered tribes of Israel along with many Gentiles, have 'heard' The Gospel, and have believed on the same Promise Jesus Christ as given to Abraham.

 Gal 3: Read All.

The blindness is especially upon Judah today, but recall the previous Isaiah 28 Chapter covered the deception of Ephraim, who is symbolic of the ten tribe kingdom of the 'house of Israel' among the western Christian nations.
     "Well if Ephraim has received Jesus Christ as The Saviour, then how are many among them blinded also?", some might ask. Our Heavenly Father took much patience and time in revealing His Salvation within this great Book of Isaiah. He likewise has done that within all of His Word; and for us He did this, in hopes that we would at least take time out of our busy schedules, and think about Him and what He has done for us by studying His Word to learn how to serve Him
.

Our LORD YHVH and His Son Jesus Christ deserve all praise, yet many today who receive His goodness won't even stop to recognize Him per His Word of Truth. Many of those believe, but their faith often wavers to the precepts of men (that Message is coming up later in this Isa.29 Chapter).
     Instead, it seems that some believers are afraid to even open up His Word in study, fearing they'll discover a harsh conviction upon themselves that their conscience just won't be able to bear. No believer on Christ needs worry about that from God's Word, for all of us are already convicted by 'sin.

Rom.3:9; What then? Are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

 Gal.3:22-29: Read All.

Romans 7: Read All.

Even at our very best, we are as "filthy rags" to God;

 Isa.64:6-9. Read All.

 So then who is worthy of Salvation? None, absolutely none, but our LORD loved us enough to send His Son Jesus Christ to shed His Blood upon the cross, so that those who believe might be
