converted (return), with their soul healed and gathered back to Him for eternity, our sins taken away and remembered no more. Believers on Christ should never be afraid of the chastisement from our Lord, for it means He loves us, and there is; hope in waiting for Him.
Hebrews 12: Read all.
Those afraid to open up The Word out of fear of being convicted will default to spiritual blindness. When a believer on Christ allows that to happen, it means they have a 'fear' of needed correction. That thinking will make those want to leave His Word closed so they will not have to face His Truth, so what must those default to then? They default to Spiritual 'blindness'; because they refuse to open up God's Letter in discovery. We will all face The Lord Jesus Christ at one time or another,
2 Cor 5: Read All.
So why delay in opening up His Word now, especially in these times?
Rev.20: Read All. Rev.19:15. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
These are the ones who the false messiah will be especially setup for, ensuring their deception. And notice within this Isaiah 29 Chapter that God is giving us a warning that many of those haughty are rulers and prophets among His People of both 'houses' of Israel. Who then, will we believe? There is only One who will never let us down, The Father and the Son. Isa 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, "Read this, I pray thee": and he saith, "I cannot; for it is sealed": I openly and gladly admit that I do not know everything in The Word, for who can understand all of God's Word to Its supreme depth? God's Word is continually revealing and giving an understanding only by our Lord's spiritual touching. Who can say they are in such great personal standing with our Lord that He will just show them all Heavenly Truth from His Living Word? Even Paul learned that no man can measure up to that full knowing while in the flesh.
2 Corinthians 12: Read All.
By that example in 2 Corinthians 12, Paul knew the many revelations he received from our Lord required that he be humbled. Even Paul was thus admitting that his flesh could only fathom so much before being overwhelmed. But this situation mentioned here in these verses of Isaiah shows something else. |
