This Isaiah 32 Chapter continues God's warnings of not trusting in Him, and
also goes a little into the time of Christ's future "thousand
years" reign on earth (Rev.20). There is a comfort also found here for
those who listen to our Heavenly Father and His Son in His Word and heed His
Counsel.
We ask a word of wisdom from our Heavenly Father as we
begin, in Christ Yashu'a Jesus' Name, Amen.
Isa 32:1 Behold, a king shall reign in
righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
Who might this King be, and when is this reign? This of course is our Lord
Jesus Christ, The KING, and He will reign in Jerusalem for a thousand years
with His elect priests and kings These
"princes" then represent the over comers of His people that
rule with Him.
Rev.2:26, And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to
him will I give power over the nations.
Rev.20:4, And I saw thrones and they sat upon them, and judgement was
given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness
of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in
their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Isa 32:2 And a man shall be as an hiding place
from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry
place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
This is an analogy of Christ being The Rock of protection, and as a River of
waters in a dry place. In this analogy "wind" (Hebrew 'ruach')
is symbolic of God's Spirit of future judgment upon the wicked, and Christ as
spiritual Waters contrasted to an empty wilderness. This verse applies both to the time when God's consuming fire
will destroy this second earth age, and also into and through Christ's thousand
years reign afterwards, including up to the future time of the "new
heavens and a new earth".
Our Rock Jesus Christ is our Passover of protection, as we learned from the
previous Isaiah Chapter. Even as Deuteronomy 32:31 declares "For their rock is not as our Rock, even our
enemies themselves being judges." Those who put
their trust in a spurious messiah who comes first instead of waiting for The
True Rock Christ Jesus, will have misplaced their trust in a false rock.
Matthew
24:21-26.
Isa 32:3 And the eyes of them that see shall
not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
This is meant in the spiritual sense, not the physical sense. It is to those
who are sealed in the latter days with God's seal, as per
Revelation 7 & 9
Having spiritual eyes
to see, and spiritual ears to hear; These do and shall hearken to The LORD in His Word,
and heed His warnings for the latter days, and thus will not be deceived by the
coming false rock and false king, the false messiah/antichrist, which is the
"dragon", "that old serpent", the "Devil",
i.e. Satan de facto in person upon this earth.
Rev.12:9.
Isa 32:4 The heart also of the rash shall
understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak
plainly
