Isaiah
The
Prophet Isaiah.
I would love to start a teaching on the
Book of Revelation, but it has come to my attention that many would not be
prepared in the metaphors and symbology that our Lord uses in that great Book.
Why? Because many of today’s Churches don’t cover the Old Testament anymore.
I’m saying many, not all. Even some Churches teach that we don’t live in the
Old Testament anymore, when there is more in the Old Testament that has not
happened yet, even to this day, than given in the New Testament. Our Lord Jesus
Christ even referred many times to the Old Testament in His teachings. Jesus
stated the phrase "Have ye not read!" (Matt.12:3) six different times
pointing to six books of the Old Testament while teaching The Gospel. Jesus
Himself sealed every one of the Ten Commandments in the Gospel.
The above proof of Christ’s teaching from the Old
Testament makes those who would say that "we don’t live in the Old
Testament anymore" look very silly. How do you think they’ll appear to God
on the ‘last day’? There will be much shame on that day for those who would
rather listen to the traditions of men, and popular Christian ‘slogans’, rather
than reading God’s Word for themselves, with understanding. Well, why would
they be ashamed on that day, one might ask? Because by not reading and
understanding The Word for themselves, they become open to many false doctrines
that are not part of our Father’s Letter. It then becomes easy for these people
to be deceived by any fancy teacher claiming to teach God’s Word. If you’re not
in line with God’s Word, well, you know whose teachings you’re putting your
trust in, the false teachings of Satan. One might think that it’s not possible
for a true believer in God to be deceived, but our Father has put a test on all
those who would come to Him. Without understanding His Word, you won’t
understand the ways that Satan is allowed to cause deception in the world. The
Lord has told us all things in His Word, and that's how it will come down the
line, as written.
There is more to consider speaking of the Old Testament. The
Old Testament prophets referred to the Book of The Law (The Pentateuch, i.e.,
the first five books of the Old Testament), no less than 1,531 times.1 So
that made The Law included with their prophetical Books (which of course are
The Lord’s Words). Jesus Christ was the True Author of the Book of Revelation
‘which God gave to Him’, as stated in Rev.1: 1, so again, that pretty much
covers the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, not just the New
Testament, that we are to study. It all adds up to this: The Holy Bible, all of
It, is The Word, and we are to ‘eat It’, ‘consume It’ in our heart and mind,
for that Holy Word is Jesus Christ, The Bread of Life (John 1; John 6:35 &
48). So don’t let any man, not this man or any other, a Church 'system',
theology, etc., tell you that "you don’t have to read all of God’s
Word", for they are either in ignorance, or aim to purposely deceive those
who would understand The Word. And this because those meant to understand would
be able to verify what they’re being taught, man’s doctrine, or God’s Word.
Some would say, "Oh, my preacher wouldn’t deceive us, he’s so sweet and
nice, and we all just love him." Really? Let me ask you this. Will that
preacher be standing there on ‘judgment day’ next to you, backing you up before
God, when you’re asked by The Lord, "Well, I sent this Letter to you, but you
never read It. You let some man tell you what It says, listening to ‘mammon’
instead of your Father. If you had read It, or at least went back and checked
that man out, you would have known that I allowed many false teachers in the
Church, to separate My people from the false ones. You then would have known
which Church to attend that was teaching My Word. Why have you disobeyed
Me?" (see Acts 20:28-31; 1 Timothy 4; 2 Peter 2 and 2 Cor.11 if you doubt
this can happen in God's Churches).
Get the idea? I hope so.
These are all
reasons why I want to do a study in the Old Testament, chapter-by-chapter, and verse-by-verse,
so that God’s Word flows in the mind, and not man’s word. The Old Testament
prophets help to open up The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and The Book of
Revelation.
We
begin this study with The Book of the prophet Isaiah. The period is
approximately from 649 - 588 B.C. The word Isaiah in the Hebrew, means "The
Salvation of Jehovah". The Book of Isaiah is quoted much in the
Gospel, and Jesus Himself would read from Isaiah in the Temple at Isaiah
Chapter 61. (Jesus didn’t complete the reading of the 2nd verse in Chap. 61
while in the Temple, for it wasn’t time for His second coming. Luke 4:17-21;
Isaiah 61:1-2). This is a long book, 66 Chapters, so here we go. We ask a Word
of Wisdom from our Father in Christ's Name, Amen:
Isaiah 1:1 The vision of Isaiah
the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of
Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and
Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
These
are Kings that were in existence during that time. Note the distinction ‘kings
of Judah’.
(I did the Lost Tribe
studies so you would understand this marker of 'kings of Judah', and
other terms in Isaiah, such as 'house of Judah', 'house of Israel',
'Samaria', 'Ephraim', etc. Might want to check those studies
out).
Isa 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give
ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up
children, and they
have rebelled against Me.
This
is also the way the Song of Moses starts in Deut. 32:1. This is God speaking
out to the whole earth, to all. God is the Father of all ‘souls’. He
‘nourished’ us, and now they have outright rebelled against Him. Don’t think
that He is talking about those during the time of Isaiah only. All you need to
do is look around today. The rebellion against Him is not hard to see. This
great nation of America has just about taken God’s Stamp off its heritage. Even
Paul would tell us in I Corinthians 10 how the events in The Old Testament are
examples for us, revealing a blueprint for the things that would befall us in
the end time. Consider the following:
1 Cor 10:11 Now all these things
happened unto them
for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of
the world are come.
So
don’t allow any man to tell you that we don’t live in the Old Testament
anymore. The Books of the prophets are history, but also a mold for a repeating
history, "what goes around, comes around" type. This is the key to
understanding Old Testament prophecy, for much of the Old Testament is future
yet. We’ll see this more and more as The Book of Isaiah contains passages that
do not mix with even Isaiah’s time or era.
Isa 1:3 The ox knoweth his owner,
and the ass his master's crib: but
Israel doth not know, My people doth not consider.
God
is saying that His people do not know Who feeds them, (physically and
spiritually); they don’t even stop to think about where the blessings come
from, but even dumb animals do know from where and who feeds them. His children
when they are rebellious against Him, are dumber than animals in this sense.
That’s what He’s saying. This should start to reveal to you that God has
feelings; and His children hurt Him when they don’t seek and follow Him. We
were made in His Image, remember? Most people know their paternal mother or
father, but what about the Father of your soul? Often people mistakenly apply
thanks to their paternal parents when the thanks should go to our Father, in
heaven, everyone's original Father.
Isa 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people
laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they
have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger,
they are gone away backward.
God
is angry about us leaving Him for man’s little self-serving turmoil. This ‘seed
of evildoers' has replaced God with man’s philosophy and idolatry. They
believe they can go it alone and figure out the mysteries of life on their own,
without God. They present science in replacement for the knowledge of our Holy
Father, and much of their truth is false science, as in the case of
‘evolution’. Even though there is no archeological support of evolved species
over time, or even physical ‘states’ of the changing of evolution going on
today, from specie to specie development; the pseudo scientists still expect us
to believe it, for the sake of science. Be careful friend, for these kinds of
falsehoods are happening in the spiritual field today too, and they expect you
to swallow them also.
Isa 1:5 Why should ye be stricken
any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole
heart faint.
The
rebellious say, "Well why should God go on punishing us? What’s He got
against us?" And God is replying, "If I don’t put a stop to it by
punishing you, you’ll ‘revolt more and more’. Your leaders are sick; their
noodles are overdone and there is no brain left in them. The heart is weak from
rebellion and will turn to anything that is evil." Hey, in case you don’t
recognize it, The LORD is reacting just like a true Father when His children
get out of line. Cross that line too far, and He’ll disown you.
Isa 1:6 From the sole of the foot
even unto the head there is
no soundness in it; but
wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither
bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
Our
Father can get pretty graphic if needs be. Too bad many teachers are afraid to
teach our Father’s Word, even the graphic parts. They are so careful not to
offend, afraid they’ll lose their flock. I guess they’re too good to teach even
God’s graphic Word. Our Father teaches this way for a purpose; to get our
attention! It shows us how He feels! When He speaks this way, it is really time
to perk up and pay attention. If we don’t pay attention, you know what's next?
A strong boot, fast as lightning, never seen, but oh how it will be felt! The
sad part is that the 'boot' isn't enough for many people.
Can you believe it? God is saying we are like ‘open sores’, untreated pus
infected sores, when we don’t follow Him. This is how He is relating our
spiritual status to Him in that state of rebellion. "Well, how does this
state come about?," some might ask. By not reading and understanding His
Word, Biblical illiteracy, that’s how. No one is perfect; that’s why He sent
His Son Jesus Christ. As long as we repent of our sins, and attempt to get into
His Word and try to do what God wants us to do, our sins are wiped away, daily
if we repent daily. Believing on His Son and getting baptized is the first
easiest step, but don’t stop there, the real work has only begun. The better we
understand God’s Word, the more He will put us to work in the ‘field’, in His
service. If we just go to Church and sit on a bench, saying how wonderful a
service that was, going home, never cracking His Word open, but returning back
to our little daily rat race, we are in rebellion and are about to get the belt
across our rear, spiritually speaking. How could we be of service to God in
that light? These don’t know what their Father wants them to do, because they
haven't read It. Haven’t you heard there’s a war on? It’s a spiritual war, and
like it or not, we are all on sides, no neutrals. Which side do you want to be
on?
Isa 1:7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your
land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by
strangers.
America
has always been blessed. Its resources have been overwhelming. Our rich history
shows the presence of God throughout; the writings of our past leaders show it,
but today, something has changed. Our leaders today have opted for ‘political
correctness’ doctrines over God’s Word. Most of those socialist doctrines are
foreign to America; they never used to have much existence here. Overwhelming
crime in the cities, diseases that we ought to have the technology blessings to
cure, all refer to the ‘burning with fire’ in this verse. The ‘New World
Order’, which will grow to become the New ‘Babylon’ one world government, or
‘beast’ system of Revelation 13 - 18, is part of the old Sodom and Gomorrah
system. Our leaders won’t talk of this group, but the participation of many
with that false doctrine is obvious to anyone with common sense. They are
‘strangers’, invaders, and the remnant knows it, and can see their presence,
right amongst us. Unfair trade and the selling off of America, erosion of our
Constitution, which is based on God’s Word, nah, sure..., we don’t live in the
Old Testament anymore, but God speaking through Isaiah is hitting pretty close
to the state of affairs today.
Isa 1:8 And the daughter of
Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers,
as a besieged city.
This
word ‘cottage’ means a ‘shanty’ out in a work field. Our
cities have been sieged if you look close enough. How much money have we given
the IMF (International Monetary Fund) lately? It seems that after each war
America is involved in, a mass amount of our wealth trods overseas.
·
Who pays this bill? The taxpayer of course.
·
What are we left with? A shanty, a shack in a
cucumber field left to ruin after harvest, meaning after we’ve paid our bills,
taxes, even the interest on our national debt.
·
(Interesting that
God would use this analogy it fits perfectly today.) Don’t get too upset, after
all, it’s part of God’s Plan. These events are to allow Satan’s ‘New
World Order’ to come into being. Remember God’s original message when we
started this Chapter; His children are rebellious, and this is all
punishment indeed.
Isa 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts
had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like
unto Gomorrah.
This
was quoted by Paul in Rom.9:29 also. What’s God saying here? If it weren’t for
a 'small remnant’ of God’s elect that are helping to keep some
resemblance of order, we should be as Sodom and Gomorrah. If you’ll recall,
Sodom and Gomorrah held doctrines that made things natural into unnatural,
doctrines against humanity such as homosexuality, and whatever was wrong and
evil, they taught was good and just, and visa versa. These liberals today who
speak out against Christianity don’t realize how close to the edge of
destruction they’re treading. Recall Matt.24: 22, which says that if the days
weren’t shortened for the elect’s sake, there should be no flesh left? This verse
here in Isaiah gives a definite link to the end time, our time. In case you
haven’t figured out what I’m talking about, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah,
after He had rescued the only righteous remnant from it (no "secret
rapture" illusions here, please). Lot’s wife turned back to view the
destruction against God’s commandment and was turned to a pillar of salt. She
evidently was going to miss that life. She also was originally of that Holy
remnant being led out of Sodom and Gomorrah. Could this represent the
unforgivable sin that only the elect can commit when they are delivered before
Satan’s New World Order system to give ‘testimony’ for God, by refusing to
allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them? You decide. (See Mark 13; Matt.
24; Luke 21)
Isa 1:10 Hear the word of the
LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of
Gomorrah.
God
is telling the Israelites, and us today to listen up, to what; His Word, not
man’s word. Notice He calls the state of affairs like unto Sodom and Gomorrah.
Again, look around toady if you think this is not pertaining to our time also.
This message is especially for our leaders, spiritual and political alike, for
the priests of Israel were to be consulted on statehood. They were then to ask
God’s advice on the running of affairs. How is it done today friend? Do our
political leaders consult Church leaders, and if and when they do, are our
Church leaders up to the chore? The beginning session of Congress is not
started with a prayer to God for nothing. Our forefathers made that a
requirement in our Constitution, because they knew that God belongs in the
affairs of men. Look on your U.S. currency; it says ‘In God We Trust’. The Word
of God is what made America great, not a bunch of puffed up liberal
philosophers that want to remove God from among us.
Isa 1:11 "To what purpose is the multitude of your
sacrifices unto Me?" saith the LORD: "I am full of the burnt
offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of
bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
Isaiah
is directly quoting from our Father here. At the time of Isaiah, Jesus Christ
had not come yet, so the daily sacrifice was part of the Law. But yet, God is
telling them He’s tired of their sacrifices and burnt offerings. Why?
Because
The LORD wants our love, not the blood of animals. This verse destroys the idea
the higher critics pronounce, that Jehovah is a bloody God; but He is instead,
a Loving and Just Father. He is saying to the Israelites that their sacrifices
are null and void, because they have not shown Him love and respect, but they
live according to their own hearts, stretching out God's Word into as much
ritual dogma as they can. The fact that God sent His Son, doing away with the
daily oblation animal sacrifice is living proof that He wants our love instead
of blood sacrifices.
Isa 1:12 When ye come to appear
before Me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread My courts?
God
is asking these spiritual leaders, "Who asked you to set up your own
Church creeds and doctrine?" The word ‘tread’ is Hebrew ramas,
meaning to ‘trample on’, or to profane. God is angry because the
spiritual leaders profane His Temple with their little doctrines of men, and
methods that He did not teach. They ‘profane’ the Temple (this means the Church
also) with their little Easter egg rituals and the like.
(The word ‘Easter’ in Acts 12 is not in the original manuscripts. Man added
this. The Greek word there is pascha, meaning Passover. Most
Churches celebrate Easter, which came from the pagan ritual of 'Eostre',
at the time of Christ’s resurrection, but Christ became our Passover Lamb as
written in 1 Cor.5:7.)
Isa 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense
is an abomination unto Me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of
assemblies, I cannot away with; it is
iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Isa 1:14 Your new moons and your
appointed feasts My soul hateth: they are a trouble unto Me; I am weary to bear
them.
God
is sick of all this playing religion stuff. The phrase ‘I cannot away
with’ means ‘He is not able to bear them’. God wants us to come
to Him ‘in spirit and in truth’ (John 4:23), not by man’s solemn feasts and
holidays that the Father did not set up. He hates the use of incense in
religious practice, for that was done to appease the gods in pagan worship,
making a pleasing aroma, to set the tone of the religious experience, driving
the emotions high.
Don’t get me wrong, He wants us to feel joy when we are in good standing with
Him, but have you ever been to a spiritual meeting in a Church or elsewhere,
where all they did for the first couple of hours was to try to raise everyone’s
emotional state, before they ever got to actually teaching from God’s Word, if
at all? Be careful friend, because when the emotions take over the mind, you’re
opening yourself up for many things that don’t belong to God. This phenomenon
is called ‘mysticism’, which advocates a ‘direct’ experience of God, and
I mean that in the sense of the psychic realm. Our closeness to our Father
should be in the sense of studying His Word, and praying to Him. If we have any
vision or dream from Him, it will be when He causes it, and not all the altered
state producing effects that man causes, such as eastern meditation, incense
burning, chanting vowel sounds, saying the same prayer over and over until our
senses are numbed, thus opening up that psychic world. Anything in the Church
that gets in the way of hearing the Word of God with understanding is heathenism!
Isa 1:15 And when ye spread forth
your hands, I will hide Mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I
will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
Our
Father knows what we need before we even ask. He knows our hearts and minds that
well. So what is the purpose of repeating a prayer over and over, or making
long prayers with the idea that if we don’t verbalize all of our
thoughts, it won’t be heard, as if we were waiting for a miraculous sign from
heaven to show that He did hear us? Is prayer more effective with our Father if
we hold up our arms to the heavens while we make supplication? We should make
our prayers to Him short, with respect and humility, showing our faith in Him
that He will answer and do according as it is His Will, not ours. Also if a
person thinks to pray all the time, wanting guidance in the smallest of matters
instead relying on His Word and Holy Spirit as Guide, might it show that person
may not be a good vehicle for God to use, alluding to the lack of their faith
and understanding? Don’t get me wrong, repentance is necessary, but we can
overdo much asking of The Father of things that have nothing to do with
repentance. Understand The Word, then do It, and God will bless, giving you
what is necessary, and then some, if you’re in the ‘field’ doing His Work, and
many times without us even asking.
Isa 1:16 Wash
you, make you clean; put away the evil of
your doings from before Mine eyes; cease to do evil;
Wash
whom? Make whom clean? Each one of us, individually, that’s whom, and He's not
talking about with physical soap, but with 'spiritual soap'. Many things
in the assembly are taught as being from the Word, and they're not in It. God
is saying that each one of us has a personal responsibility to Him. If we follow
man’s system and doctrines, He will still hold each person responsible, because
He gave This Letter to each person, allowing us to know the difference between
good and evil. Have you read it lately? Are you using His Word to clean
with, or man's?
Isa 1:17 Learn to do well; seek
judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Follow
The Lord; seek righteous thinking in daily dealings with the world. Stand up
and make a difference. That’s what God is saying. "Well, how do we know
righteousness, and to be able to make fair judgments?" Study The Word,
that’s how we’ll know. Christ is our Daily Bread, literally! That means The
Word, for Jesus Christ is That Word. (See John 1).
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us
reason together,", saith the LORD: "though your sins be as scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be
as wool.
‘Let
us reason together’ means ‘let’s settle the matter’. Even though
our sins are great, He will forgive us if we return to
Him, because He loves His children. God is saying ‘reason’ with His Letter He
gave to us, use It for guidance. Don’t wait until you can get your life and
sins in order by yourself before you turn to God; it won’t happen! Christ is
the only One Who walked in the flesh and did not sin. "Well I've just got
to get my life in order and get rid of these bad habits that's so hard to
break, before I can become a Christian," some might say. Sorry friend, you
don't have enough time in this short existence on earth. We are going to
sin as long as we’re in the flesh. That’s why He sent His Son and Christ
claimed the victory over Death for us. This is a personal message for each one
of us, from our Father. If you make an effort to come to Him, He will help you
get rid of all that old 'baggage' of sins you've been toting around.
Isa 1:19
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
His
blessings become ours if we are ‘willing’ and ‘obedient’. Again,
by studying His Word is how we learn to do this. It all comes down to
"if...". Don’t worry too much if you fail sometimes, that is what
Christ died for. Be wary of guilt trips which can stump your growth in The
Word. Ask forgiveness, and you’ve got a new start. A habitual sinner is one who
doesn’t come to God for guidance, but tries to go it alone. They believe on
themselves and practice a type of atheism, and try to develop their own sense
of morality. This doesn't mean we can keep on sinning either. Don't
misunderstand me. Our Father knows when we are not sincere with Him, there's no
fooling Him. If you truly want to come to Him, and believe on His Son Jesus
Christ, know that there is a commitment involved, just as in real life.
Isa 1:20 But if
ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the
LORD hath spoken it.
Here’s
the other choice of non-commitment to our Father. That’s right, choice. That’s
what it all boils down to. If you believe in God, but are apostate, i.e.,
rebellious, you have made a choice against Him. There is no in-between. As
Jesus would say in Rev 3:16: "So then because thou art lukewarm, and
neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." To refuse
God, and not study His Word, even if you believe, means you have chosen Satan,
because Lucifer is the author of ‘confusion’ and that’s what the word ‘babel’
and Babylon means. And by not understanding The Word for yourself, means you’re
in a state of ‘confusion’; it’s that simple. Hey, this is not my opinion, or
idea. I am not the author of It. What is this ‘sword’ The Lord is
talking about? You’ll find It mentioned in Rev.1:16, and it is a ‘two-edged
sword’ that cuts both ways. It is this ‘sword’ that the True Christ
will defeat Satan with, and all those that refuse Him by worshipping 'a
pseudo messiah' (Matt.24:24 per the Greek), who comes before our Lord
Jesus Christ. Those who truly love The Lord, but are too busy or wrapped up in
this world to study His Word, that same Word becomes a ‘stone of stumbling’ to
them. Hang on to that idea. It will come up later in the eighth Chapter of
Isaiah.
Isa 1:21 How is the faithful city
become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now
murderers.
The
word ‘is’ means, ‘is it that she’ in the context of this verse,
so reading it again: ‘How is it that she (Jerusalem), the faithful city, has
become a harlot!’ God is checking you out to see how much you know of His Word
with this verse, for He has foretold us ‘all things’. (John 14:26; Mark 13:23).
He is calling our ‘remembrance’ of former things. God is asking us how
Jerusalem and His children came to this horrible state of ‘confusion’ and
rebellion; in other words, what events led to this condition? God’s most
favorite place on earth is Mount Moriah in Jerusalem. This is where God’s
Temple was built by Solomon (2 Chr.3:1). The ‘harlot’ He
refers to is ‘MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND
ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH’ of Rev.17:5. (Hey, that’s the last Book of The Holy
Bible. I guess that makes Isaiah part of Revelation then.... the critics
are not going to like this!) This ‘harlot’ is the apostate Church, in
rebellion, who will wrongly worship 'a pseudo messiah', i.e. Satan, when he
comes prior to Jesus Christ, in person, to earth, setting himself up in the Temple
of God, (in Jerusalem), and proclaiming himself to be God (See 2 Thess. 2;
Matt. 24; Mark 13; Luke 21; Isaiah 14; Ezekiel 28; 31; Revelation 12 - 18).
But who are these ‘murderers’? Well who
was the first murderer? Cain, who murdered his brother Abel (See John 8:44).
And the offspring of Cain are the Kenites (look up the word Kenite in
your Strong’s, no. 7014). These are the ‘murderers’ that have taken over
Jerusalem, and the Temple, even as Christ would say in Matt.23:2, ‘the
scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:’ The seat of Moses means The
Law, God’s Law. These murderers had their start in the garden of
Eden with Satan, and they help set up the New 'Babylon' World Order,
preparing the re-built Temple, in Jerusalem, for Satan to sit in as its head.
What a fantastic verse! God just covered the timeline from Satan’s offspring in
the garden to his false kingdom that is yet future to us written in Revelation
13-17.
This seems a good place to stop for now. I hope
you get the message of how The Lord is hurt by His apostate children. What a
wonderful teaching this Book of Isaiah is for the times we are living in. Wait
‘until` the 13th and 14th Chapters. We’ll find out that
this apostate Jerusalem is the center of the future Babylon, and God will give
us the identity of the Assyrian of the future, for he will be Satan. The 14th
Chapter will confirm that the historical Assyrian of Isaiah’s time was but a
‘type’ of the role Satan himself will play in the near future.
Peace
be with you in Christ Jesus,
Dave Ramey.
