Obedience

Brings Blessings

Isaiah 2:2–3

2 And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, “Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths:” for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

God’s great spiritual law—the Ten Commandments—will be the basis for Christ’s rule in Tomorrow’s World. Through the teaching and guidance of Christ and His resurrected saints, the whole world will learn how to love and worship God and how to genuinely love and care for their neighbours. God’s word describes that time:

Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea"

Isaiah was inspired to describe the scene when thousands of Israelites will be brought back from slavery and even many of their children restored to them:

Isaiah 60:4. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

This is still future. Sons…daughters, these are not Gentiles therefore, but Israelites.

Jeremiah 31:10 Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ”He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

Isaiah 60:5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

Then notice the physical blessings, which will be poured out on re-gathered Israel and Judah: Forces = fullness, riches, wealth, or resources. This prophesy looks far beyond the return under Ezra, Nehemiah.

Isaiah 60:9–11

9  Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me; and the ships of Tarshish will come first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of the Lord your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He has glorified you

10 The sons of foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in My wrath I struck you, but in My favour I have had mercy on you

11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles, and their kings in procession"

Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for His friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Truly, the spoiled and arrogant peoples of the so-called "Lost Ten Tribes" of Israel are today found among the American and British-descended peoples and the peace-loving nations of north-western Europe. Unless an unprecedented national repentance occurs, our peoples are to be humbled, chastened and taken into national slavery! Then, when we have begun to "learn our lesson," God will bring our peoples back to the land of Israel and bless them in a truly awesome manner.
Then, as we have seen, the law will go forth from Jerusalem. The entire world will learn God’s true ways—and peace and joy will at last permeate the entire earth! Finally, the "new covenant" will be understood and practiced by both the "house of Israel" and the "house of Judah"

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD. That I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, saith the LORD, I will put My laws to the inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My People.

When Satan is banished at the beginning of Christ’s rule

Revelation 20:1–3

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent which is the devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Satan is loosed for a little season to test the faith of the nations, and filter out any potential rebels that may have inadvertently (Done unintentionally, accidentally, often with no one accepting blame) crept in. And the nations return to the borders God long ago established for them.

 Acts 17:26–27

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitations.

27 That they should seek the Lord if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us:

God is the habitation of his people, who find rest and safety in him (Ps. 71:3; 91:9). Justice and judgment are the habitation of God's throne (Ps. 89:14, Heb. mekhon, "foundation"), because all his acts are founded on justice and judgment. (See Ps. 132:5, 13; Eph. 2:22, of Canaan, Jerusalem, and the temple as God's habitation.) God inhabits eternity (Isa. 57:15), i.e., dwells not only among men, but in eternity, where time is unknown; and "the praises of Israel" (Ps. 22:3), i.e., he dwells among those praises and is continually surrounded by them. People will quickly get over their hostility to God and His great spiritual law. There will then be outward peace over the entire earth. And an "inner peace"—the "peace of God, which surpasses all understanding"

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Will descend on most of mankind in a manner never before experienced in all human history. God’s ways are good. The blessings of Christ’s soon-coming glorious Kingdom will truly be magnificent. God speed that day!

God will reside with us on Earth.

For the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
For most of history, God had purposed that there be a Temple to mitigate His holy presence in the midst of sinful men. Now there are no more sins, and man and God can enjoy full fellowship without separation.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

It was the redemptive work of Jesus at the crucifixion which ultimately restored full fellowship between man and God.

Matt 27:39 And they that passed by reviled Him, wagging their heads.

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, “Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

These Pharisees, and Sadducees, were trying to trick Christ into giving a sign. The KJV interprets them as being Jews, but they are Kenites. Christ was referring  to His own crucifixion, and His own body as the Temple when He said, “Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” They didn’t even understand what Christ was referring to when they unbelievingly said that. “the Temple took forty six years to build, and you (Christ) will raise it up in three days?” Don’t forget friends, these Pharisees and Sadducees professed to be the Spiritual leaders of the Jewish nation.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Col. 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell.

Rev. 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, “Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.

Significantly, God the Father and God the Son are equally considered to be the Temple. Again, we see the equivalency of Jesus Christ with the Father. Jesus is God

John 10:30 I and My Father are one.”

The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it.
It indicates that the city had no need of the sun or of the moon because of the Shekinah glory of God in the midst of the city. God created light on the first day.

Gen. 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light:” and there was light.

But the sun and moon were not created until the fourth day.

Gen. 1:14 And God said,”Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.

The glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.
Isaiah saw a day, after the punishment of the “host of exalted ones” (probably fallen angels), when the brightness of the “Shekinah glory” would make the moon disgraced and the sun ashamed.

Isa. 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before His ancients gloriously.

Now, the glory of the Lord serves in their stead. the “Shekinah glory” of God will serve in their place in the city and its vicinity:

Isa. 60:19-20.

19The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light; but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

20Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine  everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

Similarly, the glory of the Lord illuminated the holy of holies within the original Tabernacle: The dwelling-place of God’s glory in the Tabernacle and the Temple on earth had no light of sun or moon; for the Shechinah or glory of God was sufficient.

What has happened? Man has been brought fully into the holy of holies which is lit only by God’s glory! Again, we see the emphasis on the communion of man with a holy God. There is no longer any separation of any sort because sin has been completely done away with. This is why there was still a “Millennial Temple” during the thousand years, but not a Temple building in the New Jerusalem. In the Millennium, sin still existed.

Isa. 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

Rev. 20:7-10

07 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison.

08 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

09 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

In our own day, the Lamb serves as the Spiritual light bringing revelation to men,

Luke 2:32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

John 1:4-5

4. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

God’s glory had been seen in the millennial Jerusalem, but the New Jerusalem will eclipse everything from the previous order:

Isa. 60:1-3.

1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light.
Those who are saved, the term nations, denotes the diversity of the redeemed, from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.

Rev. 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, “Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.

Rev. 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Rev. 14:6  And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and every kindred, and tongue, and people.

In  place of the sun and moon, the nations walk in the light provided by God’s glory which emanates from the city and illuminates the earth.

Rev. 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamb is the light thereof.

Rev.  22:5  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the LORD God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

And all will speak the same language

Zephaniah 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

Unfortunately; when Christ arrived for the first Advent the nation was in a pretty bad state. Plans were set out to murder Him, and He was finally crucified as prophesied. Everyone who has read the Bible is aware of the facts, even children in their nativity plays are made aware, but grow up and forget quite easily, that it ever took place, or why.

Today the nation is in the same state now as it was then, but this time we will pay the price for turning our backs on Our LORD God and His Son Jesus Christ, and be put through a humbling process of great proportions, before we are redeemed. The Nation never repented then, and they are not going to now.

Had they repented the first time, Then Jesus Christ would have been “sent”, and “ the restoration of all things which God had spoken by all His holy prophets since the world began” would have taken place, in accordance with God’s Divine assurance given by Peter in;

Acts 3:18-26

18 But these things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all His prophets, that Christ should suffer, He hath so fulfilled.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the LORD.

20 And He shall send Jesus Christ, Which before was preached unto you:

21 Whom the heavens must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, “A Prophet shall the LORD your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; Him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever He shall say unto you.

23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that Prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.”

24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and all those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, “And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.”

26 Unto you first God, having raised up His Son Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away everyone of you from his iniquities.

But the condition of national repentance,

Levi 26:40-42

40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against Me, and that also they have walked contrary unto Me;

41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity;

42 Then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

Was not fulfilled; hence that generation passed away, and both prophecies (with all others) are now postponed. The first sign of all did (and will again) take place, the rising of the “many Antichrists”; whereby John could say with confidence; they knew that it was “the last hour” before the “end of that age”

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
