4 Ezra, chapter 13

End Day Synopsis

By J E Bradburn

Ezra 10:4 (KJV) Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it.

4 Ezra is a chapter of the now near future; from the Old Testament, which explains what to expect at the Second Coming of Christ http://www.godsplan.org.uk/secondadvent.htm on the Day of the LORD when He will meet with the hordes of nations, more to the point, how He will deal with them. It may be alarming to those on the milk of God’s Word, however; to those who are more sincere, and are on the meat of God’s Word, this has been known for some time. 4 Ezra has now become a chapter of the near future, as opposed to when Ezra dreamed a dream a long time ago. The whole of the KJV, Companion Bible from Genesis to Revelation is mostly about the Kingdom and how we get there, and the verses in Ezra reveal all that is has been hidden, but is now revealed to you also, and you will know what is happening when it happens.

Ezra 10:4 KJV says it all ending with, “be of good courage, and do it”. http://www.godsplan.org.uk/gentont.htm

Josephus (Chap 2 : 69—71).

Verse 46. God said, “I had before determined about you both, [Adam & Eve} how you might lead a happy life, without any affliction, and care, and vexation of soul; and that all things which might contribute to your enjoyment and pleasure should grow up by My providence, of their own accord, without your own labour and painstaking, which would soon bring on old age; and death would not be at any remote distance;

Verse 47 but now thou hast abused this My good will, and hast disobeyed My commands; for thy silence is not the sign of thy virtue, but of thy evil conscience

It was this disobedience which caused God to expel Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden; Paradise Lost, http://www.godsplan.org.uk/book1.htm resulting in this ungodly, earthly existence we are now in http://godsplan.org.uk/fleshage.htm and in hope of something much better than this earth we share with Satan.  http://www.godsplan.org.uk/markofcain.htm To regain the Paradise which we lost http://www.godsplan.org.uk/kingdom.htm.

Ezra gives us an insight that there is a possibility by all, but we must first follow in the steps of Jesus Christ our Lord.

01: “After seven days I dreamed a dream in the night;” One (1) Denotes unity: and commencement
02: “And behold, a wind arose from the sea and stirred up all its waves.” Two (2) Denotes difference:
03: “And I looked, and behold, this wind made something like the figure of a man come up out of the heart of the sea. And I looked, and behold, that man flew with the clouds of heaven; and wherever He turned His face to look, everything under His gaze trembled,” Three (3) Denotes completeness:
04: “and whenever His voice issued from His mouth, all who heard His voice melted as wax melts when it feels the firehttp://www.godsplan.org.uk/armageddon.htm Four (4) Denotes creative works
“After this I looked, and behold, an innumerable multitude of men were gathered together from the four winds of heaven to make war against the man who came up out of the sea.” Five (5) Denotes Divine Grace
06: “And I looked, and behold, He carved out for Himself a great mountain, and flew up upon it
07: “And I tried to see the region or place from which the mountain was carved, but I could not.”
08: “After this I looked, and behold, all who had gathered together against Him, to wage war with Him, were much afraid, yet dared to fight.” Six (6) Denotes the human number
09: “And behold, when He saw the onrush of the approaching multitude, He neither lifted His hand nor held a spear or any weapon of war;” Seven (7) Denotes spiritual perfection http://www.godsplan.org.uk/spiritualmaterial.htm

10: “But I saw only how He sent forth from His mouth as it were a stream of fire, and from His lips a flaming breath, and from His tongue He shot forth a storm of sparksEight (8) Denotes resurrection, regeneration

11: “All these were mingled together, the stream of fire and the flaming breath and the great storm, and fell on the onrushing multitude which was prepared to fight, and burned them all up, so that suddenly nothing was seen of the innumerable multitude but only the dust of ashes and the smell of smoke. When I saw it, I was amazed

12: “After this I saw the same man come down from the mountain and call to Him another multitude which was peaceable
13: “Then many people came to Him, some of whom were joyful and some sorrowful; some of them were bound, and some were bringing others as offerings. Then in great fear I awoke; and I besought the Most High, and said,” Nine (9) Denotes finality of judgement.  Six (6) Denotes the human number.

14: "From the beginning thou hast shown thy servant these wonders, and hast deemed me worthy to have my prayer heard by thee;”
15: “Now show me also the interpretation of this dream
16: “For as I consider it in my mind, alas for those who will be left in those days! And still more, alas for those who are not left
17: “For those who are not left will be sad,”
18: “Because they understand what is reserved for the last days, but cannot attain ithttp://www.godsplan.org.uk/Fourpillarsofsociety.htm

19: “But alas for those also who are left, and for that very reason! for they shall see great dangers and much distress, as these dreams show.”
20: “Yet it is better to come into these things, though incurring peril, than to pass from the world like a cloud, and not to see what shall happen in the last days." He answered me and said, http://www.godsplan.org.uk/revelation_%20revealed.htm

21: "I will tell you the interpretation of the vision, and I will also explain to you the things which you have mentioned

22: “As for what you said about those who are left, this is the interpretation

23: “He who brings the peril at that time will Himself protect those who fall into peril, who have works and have faith in the Almighty http://godsplan.org.uk/greattribulation2.htm
24: “Understand therefore that those who are left are more blessed than those who have diedhttp://godsplan.org.uk/messianicage.htm

25: “This is the interpretation of the vision: ‘As for your seeing a man come up from the heart of the sea,’”

26: “This is He whom the Most High has been keeping for many ages, who will Himself deliver His creation; and He will direct those who are left     http://www.godsplan.org.uk/bibleprophecy.htm

27: “And as for your seeing wind and fire and a storm coming out of His mouth,”

28: “And as for His not holding a spear or weapon of war, yet destroying the onrushing multitude which came to conquer Him, this is the interpretation

29: “Behold, the days are coming when the Most High will deliver those who are on the earthhttp://www.godsplan.org.uk/fourhorses%20.htm  http://godsplan.org.uk/christtheredeemer.htm

30: “And bewilderment of mind shall come over those who dwell on the earth(A kind of madness. Anger, an intense emotional response to a perceived provocation, hurt or threat.)
31: “And they shall plan to make war against one another, city against city, place against place, people against people, and kingdom against kingdom http://www.godsplan.org.uk/nationshalrise.htm

32: “And when these things come to pass and the signs occur which I showed you before, then My Son will be revealed, whom you saw as a man coming up from the sea

33: “And when all the nations hear His voice, every man shall leave his own land and the warfare that they have against one another
34: “And an innumerable multitude shall be gathered together, as you saw, desiring to come and conquer Himhttp://www.godsplan.org.uk/armageddon.htm
35: “But He shall stand on the top of Mount Zion
36: “And Zion will come and be made manifest to all people, prepared and built, as you saw the mountain carved out without hands
37: “And He, My Son, will reprove the assembled nations for their ungodliness (this was symbolized by the storm),”
38: “And will reproach them to their face with their evil thoughts and the torments with which they are to be tortured (which were symbolized by the flames), and will destroy them without effort by the law (which was symbolized by the fire).”
39: “And as for your seeing Him gather to Himself another multitude that was peaceable

40: “These are the ten tribes which were led away from their own land into captivity in the days of King Hoshea, whom Shalmaneser the king of the Assyrians led captive; he took them across the river, and they were taken into another land.” http://godsplan.org.uk/fulltentribes.htm
41: “But they formed this plan for themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the nations and go to a more distant region, where mankind had never lived
42: “That there at least they might keep their statutes which they had not kept in their own land
43: “And they went in by the narrow passages of the Euphrates river
44: “For at that time the Most High performed signs for them, and stopped the channels of the river until they had passed over
45: “Through that region there was a long way to go, a journey of a year and a half; and that country is called Arzareth
46: "Then they dwelt there until the last times; and now, when they are about to come again
47: “The Most High will stop the channels of the river again, so that they may be able to pass over. Therefore you saw the multitude gathered together in peace.”
48: “But those who are left of your people, who are found within My holy borders, shall be saved
49: “Therefore when He destroys the multitude of the nations that are gathered together, He will defend the people who remain
50: “And then He will show them very many wonders." http://www.godsplan.org.uk/kingdom.htm

51: I said, "O sovereign Lord, explain this to me: ‘Why did I see the man coming up from the heart of the sea?’"
52: He said to me, "Just as no one can explore or know what is in the depths of the sea, so no one on earth can see My Son or those who are with Him, except in the time of His day.”

53: “This is the interpretation of the dream which you saw. And you alone have been enlightened about this, “
54: “Because you have forsaken your own ways and have applied yourself to mine, and have searched out My law
55: “For you have devoted your life to wisdom, and called understanding your mother
56: “Therefore I have shown you this, for there is a reward laid up with the Most High. And after three more days I will tell you other things, and explain weighty and wondrous matters to you."

57: Then I arose and walked in the field, giving great glory and praise to the Most High because of His wonders, which He did from time to time,
58: And because He governs the times and whatever things come to pass in their seasons. And I stayed there three days.”

Deuteronomy 29:28 (KJV) And the Lord rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day. (4 Ezra, 13:40 KJV)

So; is there anything to be afraid of the coming Tribulation http://godsplan.org.uk/greattribulation2.htm?  To those who love God and want to be with Him, NO! But to those who hate God and would rather stay on this fallen earth, even regardless that it is being saved unto fire, I am afraid it is the end for them.

2 Peter 3:7 (KJV) 7 “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” http://www.godsplan.org.uk/book1.htm

The judgement is for those who do not believe in Jesus the Son of God, nor God the Father, also the ungodly men where nothing that offends belongs.

Psalm 119:165 (KJV) Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. http://www.godsplan.org.uk/fromrebelliontotabernacle.htm

The Book of Ezra

Its subject is the Return to Zion following the close of the Babylonian captivity, and it is divided into two parts, the first telling the story of the first return of exiles in the first year of Cyrus the Great (538 BC) and the completion and dedication of the new Temple in Jerusalem in the sixth year of Darius I (515 ... The Book of Ezra consists of ten chapters: chapters 1–6, covering the period from Cyrus the Great to the dedication of the Second Temple, are told in the third person; chapters 7–10, dealing with the mission of Ezra, are told largely in the first person. The book contains several documents presented as historical inclusions, written in Aramaic while the surrounding text is in Hebrew (1:2-4, 4:8-16, 4:17-22, 5:7-17, 6:3-5, 6:6-12, 7:12-26)...More https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Ezra

538 B.C. to now 2018 A. D. = 2556 years when Ezra began to prophesy, which was given to Him by God as to many others. This must be the first time for a while that this chapter of Ezra has become pertinent to many in the end day scenario, for which Christ the Son of God has become a redeemer to many of us http://godsplan.org.uk/christtheredeemer.htm.

SofDavid2The covenant between God and the Jewish people is a thread running throughout the early parts of the Bible, The covenant is made with the Jewish People as a whole, not with each individual Jew - and the result of this is that Jewish history is full of the Jews' attempts to create a good just society.

A testimony from antiquity though unsympathetic with the infant Christian church, Josephus gives a valuable testimony about the inherited collection of books that the church enjoyed, namely, the Old Testament. Writing about the year 100 A.D., (918 years ago) he states: "For we have not an innumerable multitude of books among us, disagreeing from and contradicting one another (as the Greeks have), but only 22 books, Some distorting and covering up of the truth by Satan occurred as will be revealed. http://www.godsplan.org.uk/pureHeavenlytruth.htm

That contain the record of all time; which are justly believed to be divine..."

Against Apion I.8: Against Apion = (Greek: Φλαΐου Ἰωσήπου περὶ ἀρχαιότητος Ἰουδαίων λόγος α and Φλαΐου Ἰωσήπου περὶ ἀρχαιότητος ἀντιρρητικὸς λόγος β; Latin Contra Apionem or In Apionem) was a polemical work (controversial argument, especially one refuting or attacking a specific opinion or doctrine.) written by Flavius Josephus as a defence of Judaism as a classical religion and philosophy against criticism by Apion (Greeks), stressing its antiquity against what he perceived as more recent traditions of the Greeks. Against Apion cites Josephus' earlier work Antiquities of the Jews, so can be dated after C.E. 94. It was most likely written in the early second century. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Against_Apion

Josephus was assuming that though Moses and the prophets had written their books centuries before, the Jews still had in possession the Holy Scriptures! http://www.godsplan.org.uk/Bereshith.htm

This outlook upon the Holy Scriptures has been, quite justly, adopted by the Christian Church throughout the ages: “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it” (Psalms 68:11). That same word the Lord uttered through the prophets and apostles is the word being disseminated throughout the world, among the nations. This implies preservation! (to scatter or spread widely, as though sowing seed; promulgate extensively; broadcast) http://www.tecmalta.org/tft118.htm.

Psalms 68:11(KJV) “The Lord gave the Word: great was the company of those that published it.”

“To understand the whole of God’s word, the Bible KJV, it is necessary to understand the history of The Jews, the Christians, the Old Testament, not just the New Testament as promulgated by the churches that have amalgamated with the Roman Catholic ChurchThe choice is up to you, but if you remain in only the New Testament you will understand only a little of the Dispensational Plan of the Bible http://www.godsplan.org.uk/dispensationalplan.htm.

This is for you, the only way you will be able to attain, and to become an overcomer http://www.godsplan.org.uk/christianrace.htm.

Ezekiel 28 (KJV)

01 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

02 “Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, ‘Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:”

This is God talking to Ezekiel about Satan when iniquity was found in him (Absence of moral or spiritual fortitude). Hence John Milton’s http://www.godsplan.org.uk/book1.htm and (Genesis 3:15 Companion Bible KJV). http://godsplan.org.uk/serpentofgenesis3.htm

03 “Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:”

God created Satan, just as He did Adam but Satan (Heb saw-tan’) was named Lucifer then but became the accuser; (to attack, (figuratively) accuse :—(be an) adversary, resist, a rebel).

04 “With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:”

With clever understanding of material things he soon got rich; does this start to make you think of where we are? On a fallen earth with Satan who is prince of the air.

Ephesians 2:2 (KJV) “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

05 “By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:”

06 “Therefore’ thus saith the Lord GOD; ‘Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;’” http://www.godsplan.org.uk/thebeastofrevelation.htm

07 “Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness

08 “They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas [peoples].” http://www.godsplan.org.uk/whatsahead.htm

09 “Wilt thou yet say before Him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee http://www.godsplan.org.uk/secondadvent.htm

10 “Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it,” saith the Lord GOD.

11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12 “Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him,’ Thus saith the Lord GOD; ‘Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.’”

13 “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.” http://www.godsplan.org.uk/book1.htm

14 “Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the Holy Mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Horeb

15 “Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee

16 “By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.”

17 “Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.”

18 “Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee (to attack, (figuratively) accuse :—(be an) adversary, resist, a rebel).

19 “All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more

20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

21 “Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,”

22 And say, “Thus saith the Lord GOD; ‘Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon [Sidon]; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.”

Sidon, translated to 'fishery' or 'fishing-town', is the third-largest city in Lebanon. It is located in the South Governorate of Lebanon, on the Mediterranean coast, about 40 kilometres north of Tyre and 40 km south of the capital, Beirut.

24 “And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.” http://www.godsplan.org.uk/deathswallowedup.htm

25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; “When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to My servant Jacobhttp://www.godsplan.org.uk/housesofisrael.htm

26 “And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.  Amen http://godsplan.org.uk/greattribulation2.htm

Ezekiel 37 King James Version (KJV)

01 “The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of boneshttp://www.godsplan.org.uk/internalspirit.htm

02 “And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.”

03 And He said unto me, “Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest

04 Again He said unto me, “Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.”

05 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; “Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:”

06 “And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.”

07 “So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.”

08 “And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.”

09 Then said he unto me, “Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.”

10 “So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.”

11 Then He said unto me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts http://www.godsplan.org.uk/housesofisrael.htm

12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; “Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.”

13 “And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up out of your graveshttp://www.godsplan.org.uk/earthlytabernacle.htm

14 “And shall put My Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it,” saith the Lord.

15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

16 “Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:”

17 “And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand

18 “And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?”

19 Say unto them, “Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand

image00820 “And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes

21 And say unto them, “Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:”

22 “And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.”

23 “Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their God

24 “And David My servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them.”

25 “And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob My servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and My servant David shall be their prince for ever.” http://www.godsplan.org.uk/Bereshith.htm

26 “Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.”

27 “My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be My people

28 “And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore

God is not like those He creates; He does not tell lies, or makes false promises, what He has passed to all His prophets in time past has been promulgated in the Companion Bible KJV for our perusal. “In the army of God, The Lord Jesus is my Commanding Officer. The Holy Bible (KJV) is my code of conduct. Prayer and the whole armour of God are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity, and tested by fire” AND NOW I AM READY. http://www.godsplan.org.uk/armyofgod.htm
