"They must find it difficult ... Those who have taken authority as the truth, rather than truth as the authority." Gerald Massey.

This is a very good question, and one usually thrown at a person or persons by so-called academics, who act in a haughty, arrogant, manner as being one of the elite who has all the answers, when in fact the opposite is true. They ask this question mainly because it will confound most people and will induce doubt, a sense of inferiority, and surrender. All because one has not studied the Word of God, nor even looked at a Bible, but have instead lazily surrendered to so-called academics, and peers who in their eyes have done the studying for them, or know better, even if they were false prophets. How would they know the difference between the Truth and the lies?

What is truth?’ exclaimed Pontius Pilate when he interrogated Jesus, even Pilate did not know the answer, and he was not on his own. Virtually the whole world, then as now, had no idea of what is true. We are swamped from birth to death in lies and untruths, in delusions and deceptions. For those who see the Bible as a book of superstitions and myths, or even simply poetic literature, there is no truth in their understanding. And we should not be surprised at these things when we find that the Bible calls Satan, the prince of this world’, and Jesus calls him the father of lies’.

John 14:30 (KJV) Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

John 8:44 (KJV) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Many of us are followers of others who are themselves deceived; and many of us pride ourselves that we follow no-one in particular, but develop our own ideas of what is true. And, so often, our own ideas are just a mish-mash, a selection, of bits and pieces from any of the world’s (the Devil’s) deceptions, mine were.

Until we know the truth we are living in a grand delusion; the Devil makes it, we make it ourselves, and others make it for us; and, in this sea of spiritual senselessness, we all swim around like goldfish in a bowl. We know nothing of how things outside the bowl really are; we don’t know who or what we are. We don’t even know if there is a bowl! We are held captive and we are in bondage. We seek for happiness, enjoyment, and pleasure. We seek to satisfy our selfish desires, our lusts for wealth, power, and sex. Even when we think we’ve found these things, we want more; nothing lasts. We remain in bondage, chasing the next delusion.

 Only one thing can set us free, free in heart, mind and soul; and that is TRUTH.

 Some people say there is any number of truths; that truth, like many other things in this life, is only relative; that truth might depend on your culture and other elements. All politicians claim to speak the truth---so, there can, indeed, be many apparent truths. But, truth is so special, so precious that it cannot have differing guises. No one can make up his own truth, he might think he can---but he is just sinking deeper into delusion. Truth is so magnificent, so glorious, as to be above man; we could never have worked it out. Truth has always been and will always remain; it was in existence before the creation of the world, and will be around when heaven and earth pass away.  Truth is of God, not of man:

Remember what the Good Shepherd says about His sheep: ‘But they will never follow a stranger; in fact they will run away from him because they do not recognise a stranger’s voice.’ Followers of the Good Shepherd recognise truth in His voice. Pilate was, no doubt, a proud man. He was in a position of power and leadership, the Roman Governor of all Judea. He would have rightly regarded himself as a ‘man of the world’. He had seen much and done much. And yet, when TRUTH was looking him in the eye, he could not recognise it. He was blind in hearing and in seeing. He was in the goldfish bowl. Nothing has changed. Every minute of every day people are confronted by Jesus. The truth is out there, and can be found if you seek it with all your heart and soul; Jesus says,

·       So finally can we trust to ourselves to find "truth" and look inwards for enlightenment?

·       Will we be able to rise to a higher level of understanding, and will lead to the solution of our own problems.

·       Evidence from history and even observation of children playing suggests that within each individual there resides a nature, which comes to its own definition of the truth.

·       So people come to that which is "right in their own eyes" as the Bible terms it.

·       The Bible itself is quite clear that no such seeker of "self-truth" will overcome the fundamental problem of human nature and the lies people tell themselves and others.

·       Only God and Jesus offer real "truth" and a way forwards on this rather critical issue.

John 8:31-32, 36 (KJV)

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him,” If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

The relevant words here are “If ye continue in My word”. An ongoing study of the K.J.V. will lead you from one truth to another, opening your eyes, and your ears, and “the truth shall make you free”.  In this secular world where greed, murder, corruption, scandal, drugs, lawlessness, homelessness, hunger, and starvation; to mention a few are rife, and an everyday occurrence. Being not of this world” means you are not subject to the prince of the power of the air” (Satan)

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”

The affirmation by our Lord of I am is used twenty five times in John, and Truth also occurs twenty five times in John, and always from the lips of the Lord, except 1:14, 17 and 18:38 (Pilate), while only seven times in Matthew, Mark, Luke.

Ephesians (KJV) 2:1-2 (KJV)

1 And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time passed ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.

Romans 12:2 (KJV) ~ And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

You are not guided by the same values that operate in this world, you don’t live by the same standards, you don’t worship at the altar of self and materialism, and you don’t seek the same goals (self-centred). You do not do or follow after any of those things because you have been transferred, translated from the kingdom of this world (Satan’s World) to the kingdom of heaven. (God) Here you are guided by a new set of values, you live your life by a standard that expresses Yahweh’s holiness, you seek His Kingdom only, and His righteousness - not your own desires: your worship springs from a heart that is completely centred on Him. It is important to know the difference between being of the world  and not of the world’,  and even more importantly what the expectations are for both.

Where can we find the Truth?

Companion Bible-KJV-Large Print To fully understand what is happening today we must study God’s word The Holy Bible, more importantly the King James Version (Companion Bible).

THE COMPANION BIBLE is a new edition of the English Bible. Published originally in six Parts, it is now presented in one Volume, and the description, which follows shows that the work is a self-explanatory Bible, designed for the general use of all English readers throughout the world.

It has an amount of information (much of it hitherto inaccessible to the ordinary English reader) in its wide margins not to be found in any edition of the A.V. extant, its position, in these respects, is unique.

It is called The Companion Bible because its wide margin is intended to be a Companion to the Text; and the whole is designed as the Companion of all readers of the Bible.

The human element is excluded, as far as possible, so that the reader may realise that the pervading object of the book is not merely to enable him to interpret the Bible, but to make the Bible the interpreter of God's Word, and Will, to Him.

To the same end this Edition is not associated with the name of any man; so that its usefulness may neither be influenced nor limited by any such consideration; but that it may commend itself, on its own merits, to the whole English - speaking race.

·        It is NOT A COMMENTARY. this link will show you were to start; indeed the whole site is devoted to the search for the truth. In searching God’s word the Truth is revealed to you through the Holy Spirit and you will know the Truth instantly as you are guided to the next Truth and so on. Patience is necessary as you build up your understanding, we must learn to walk before we can run. You will learn soon enough that Satan is subtle and alters only a word or two in a sentence to make a TRUTH a LIE and to the ignorant or innocent; believable, e.g. Jehovah’s Witnesses who call Christ’s parables, illustrations.

           Bullinger's Companion Bible KJV

Genesis 3:1 (KJV) Now the serpent was more subtil (Subtle) than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, "Yea, hath God said, 'Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"

Genesis 3:23 (KJV) And the woman said unto the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, 'Ye shall not eat it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.'"

God said nothing about 'touching' this tree. Eve added the words 'neither shall ye touch it'. What's more, Genesis 2: 17 has a figure of speech in the Hebrew called a Polyptoton, where 'thou shalt surely die' has special emphasis on it, meaning in the Hebrew: 'dying thou shalt die'.  Eve also misquoted God by not including this 'figure', but instead saying 'lest ye die'. So it seems both Satan, and Eve not taking God at His Word set the stage. This is the condition when we as humans think ourselves smarter than God, believing we can figure things out for ourselves, without Him. Remember, Satan and Eve are supposed to be 'directly' quoting God here.

Do you understand now how easy it is to deceive, just by adding or leaving out a few words from a Bible can deceive you into believing something completely different. This is why it is so important to use the Companion KJV it has the Massorah One could say that the Massorah was God’s way of making sure His Word had only one interpretation, and if followed, would be handed down from generation to generation without alteration.

We are being told lies by everyone on this earth, small, big, bigger, large, larger, but mostly by people who are supposed to guide and rule us. With all these scandals are they really believable, NO! Of course not.

Mathew 24:4 –5 (KJV)

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, “Take heed that no man deceive you.”

5 For many shall come in My name, saying, “I am Christ and shall deceive many.”

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers. Against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:13 (KJV) Wherefore (why) take unto you the whole armour of God?  [So] that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

How do we recognise truth?

Only from truthful sources such as the Companion Bible KJV, what you read and find there. Even here you are well advised to cross check while studying.

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The foundation of God is under attack from Satan and his followers and they are doing all in their power to steer people away from the truth. These are the rebellious ones who do Satan’s bidding while he is prince of this world,  and if you see, hear, or read of text outside of the KJV then understand,

1.      if it’s pointing you to believing in the way of the world then it comes from Satan;

2.      but if it is pointing to God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, then it comes from God and is the TRUTH.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) In whom the god of this world [Satan] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

2 Timothy 19 (KJV) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His, And let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

·        The Truth has become a casualty in today’s world, hardly anyone wants to know the truth because they are happy living the way of the world and all it entails, which has been engineered by Satan.

·        They will disagree severely with you if you attempt to tell them about God because by telling them, you have taken away their false security blanket.

·        They could plead ignorance as an excuse that they had never learned of God, from school, church, Bible, or anywhere else so it would not be their fault. This is a lie unto themselves and in truth they are in full denial.

2 Timothy 12 (KJV) if we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: If we deny Him He also will deny us.

Speaking of the Bible, God, Christ, Holy Spirit, to one’s family or friends, and peers, or indeed anyone can be a daunting task when first stepping out and requires a lot of courage. After all just look at what Christ went through, and if we want to follow Him then we must suffer as He did. It is not easy, if it were everyone on earth would be religious. Let me tell you it is hard but only in the beginning because we have to unlearn all the untruths we have been told, and believed, and replace them with the truth which sets us free of any such fears. You will begin to see clearly what a violent, lying world it truly is, and even clearer what God’s New World will have in store for you and your family. But you must stand firm because there are quite a number of individuals, Churches, and organisations, who will attempt to snare you, and steer you back to their ways of lawlessness, secular, and ungodly beliefs. That in itself to me, is more scary than rejection.

The Last End by Thomas Aquinas

1.      In this matter we shall consider first the last end of human life;

2.      Secondly, those things by means of which man may advance towards this end, or stray from the path:

For the end is the rule of whatever is ordained to the end.  And since the last end of human life is stated to be happiness, we must consider: Aquinas goes on to determine man’s last end in a philosophical manner, but also veritably easy to understand. This author is only one of many who have been led to this conclusion. Therefore; they all come to the same conclusion, promise, and understanding, for which we must stride to attain the knowledge of God through the Holy Spirit. By doing so we are led faithfully into every secret, every truth, and without really trying. It is harder to go the way of the secularist, atheistic, paganistic, or any other disbeliever, whom are of this fallen earth and are earthbound. What sense does it make not to believe in God when all we have is here on this fallen earth?

·        There is no point, except to make a choice between Satan’s ways of death.

·        Or God’s way of life.

The TRUTH is all here….
